Shipping policy

Where do we ship? 

All orders are shipped out of Houston, Texas. We ship to businesses and homes in the US states. We do not ship to P.O Box addresses, and we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally at this time...hopefully soon!

How much will shipping cost?

FREE SHIPPING on all orders for a limited time only!

How fast will my order get there?

Unlike many companies, you can choose the date we ship out your pies with our Ship Out Date Calendar. (Ship Out Date is the day we ship, not the day you receive the pies.). We typically only need 1-2 days to process and bake your pies fresh for your order. Processing times are estimates and vary depending on Peak Seasons.

Due to the summer heat, orders will only be shipped out Monday - Wednesday. Orders are generally shipped within one to four business days using UPS Ground, with Saturday delivery to most residential addresses. On average, UPS Ground packages are delivered within 1-2 business days in Texas and 2-3 business days outside of Texas after your order has been processed. Shipping times are estimates and do not include weekends or holidays. (See Map Below)

We also offer special shipping arrangements, such as UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air for a higher cost.

  • SUMMER HEAT NOTICE: Our pies are baked fresh and delivered ready to serve, so if you ship ground, we cannot guarantee our baked goods condition upon arrival. If your transit time is three or more days, UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air will be the best options to keep the product as fresh as possible. Once your pies have arrived, please eat or freeze your pies within 2 days. For more details about caring for your pies, view our Baking & Handling Instructions page. 
  • PEAK SEASON (October - January): During our peak holiday season, we, as well as our carrier UPS, experience a much higher order and shipping volume. During instances of higher than usual volume, processing times are subject to change and House of Pies cannot guarantee the time of delivery as this is all subject to the local carrier. If you are placing an order for a time-sensitive event, we recommend placing your order early and scheduling it to arrive 2+ days before your event. Our pies can be frozen upon arrival to preserve freshness.  Please contact us for more details if you have any concerns.

House of Pies Company Store waives any guarantees and/or refunds to orders delivered before or after expected delivery dates.

When will I receive my tracking information?

Once your package has been fulfilled, you will receive an email to let you know that your order is on its way with the tracking link. It may take up to 24 hours for your tracking number to appear in the UPS tracking system. For other shipping or tracking questions once your package is in transit, please contact UPS directly.

What if I inputted the wrong shipping address?

If you have entered the wrong shipping address prior to us shipping out your order, please contact us immediately and let us know the correct recipient name and address. We will change this information for you.

However, if you notice that there is a mistake with your address and your package has already been sent, contact UPS and attempt an address change or request that the package be held for pick up as we cannot change an address once the package has been sent.
