What are your most popular pies?
We are definitely known for our House of Pies Texas Pecan Pie and our Pippin' Apple Pie. Other big favorites include our Texas Pecan Fudge and Cherry pies.
Do you sell any merchandise or coffee?
Not yet! We will release new products and add some of our favorites throughout the year. Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date on all of our offerings.
I have a food allergy; can I still eat House of Pies pies?
We do not bake in an allergen-free environment. While we do have select products that do not contain wheat or nuts, all of our products are baked in an environment where wheat, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and soy may be present in high volumes. Due to the presence of these allergens at all of our baking facilities, we do not recommend consuming any of our desserts if you are allergic to wheat, nuts, dairy or eggs. You can find the allergens in each of our products on the product page on our website.
How should I store and handle my products?
Storage and handling instructions can be found within each product's description online. House of Pies pies are meant to be enjoyed as soon as possible. We have included a summary of our pie storage instructions below.
Our famous pies are made fresh, packed and shipped direct to you. Please eat or freeze your pie within 2 days from the time you receive it. Refrigerate during that time. If you will not be serving your pie right away, we recommend freezing your pies immediately. Keep your pies in the box to freeze. When ready to serve, remove from the freezer, and reheat in a 380 degree oven for 30 minutes or until warm and enjoy the pie once cooled down.
NATIONWIDE SHIPPING & ONLINE DELIVERY
Where do you ship your products?
All orders are baked and shipped out of Houston, Texas. We are currently only shipping to the contiguous U.S. states. We do not ship to international yet...hopefully soon! We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
How far in advance do I need to order?
We can have your pies arrive 3-6 days after the day you place your order. We need 1-3 days to bake and cool the pies and another 1-2 days for shipping in Texas and 2-3 days for shipping outside of Texas for our standard delivery. We also offer special shipping arrangements, such as overnight or 2 day shipping for a higher cost. For clarification, shipping days means business days. Orders placed for major holidays may take slightly longer than normal. There is no delivery on Sunday or major holidays.
When will I see a tracking number?
You will receive a tracking information email once your order has shipped and left our facility. Please ensure that your email and contact information were correct at checkout to avoid any delay. You can track your order online via the tracking information and through the carrier. In the instance that you experience an issue with your order, please contact us. A member of our team will be in touch as soon as possible. Each issue is handled on a case-by case basis. The tracking number for your order will be emailed to you once your order has been processed and fulfilled. You should see that email around 5:00 PM on our shipping date.
My online order is delayed, now what?
House of Pies is not responsible for packages one they have left our facility and are with the carrier en route to final destinations. We cannot anticipate or control carrier disruptions like inclement weather or package handling. In the instance that you experience an issue with your order, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you the best we can. Each issue is handled on a case-by-case basis.
Can I include a gift note/message with my online order?
Yes, Any unique gift note or message can be applied to your order in the cart, before checkout online.
